As Summer is soon coming to an end and Fall is fast approaching, Greenview Phase II has also made much progress. The piling work has been completed and lower level concrete work is in progress. In order to better serve our residents during this transition period, we have installed new temporary doors to allow more access to the back alley and service pick ups.
To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors. If you have a heart and passion for seniors, Wing Kei would like to invite you to join our Unit Support Aide training and provide you with an opportunity to be part of our Wing Kei family.
The provincial government is providing $5 million grant for an expansion at the Wing Kei Greenview nursing home. The expansion will provide 78 long term care beds for seniors upon its completion in 2018.
Wing Kei was awarded the Alberta Continuing Care Association “Innovator Of The Year” Award on September 14, 2016. Jane Tse, on behalf of Wing Kei, received the award presented by Honourable Sarah Hoffman (ND), Deputy Premier, Minister of Health.
