Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Care, the Occupational Therapist is responsible for care planning including assessment, plan, intervention and evaluation of outcomes for residents. This position is responsible for clinical aspects of assigned caseload within the Mission, Vision and Values of Wing Kei. This position is also an active participant of the multidisciplinary health care team as assigned. This position is responsible to actively participating in setting and evaluating treatment goals of residents. 

 

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy, current registration with the Alberta Association of Registered Occupational Therapists/Canadian Association of Occupational Therapist and current CPR certification of at least the Basic Rescuer level are required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proven assessment, critical thinking and decision making skills. 


Language Skill

English; good communication skills in Cantonese an asset
