Position Summary

Under the supervisor of the Director of Care and the Program Coordinator, this position designs, implements and delivers daily recreational programs for Adult Day Program clients of Wing Kei that reflects the organization’s person/family centered care (PFCC) approach to improve and maintain the residents’ quality of life in Wing Kei. This position will also be providing administrative support in the documentation of Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and any other administrative duties related to the program.

Qualifications

Health Care Aide certification or Completion of HCA Competency Assessment Profile (CAP) required; experience in a social services or senior care setting; experience and skills in facilitating recreational programs; completion of a CPR and first aid program an asset; basic computer skills such as word processing, excel and email.

Language Skill

English; proven effective communication skills in Cantonese an asset
