POSITION SUMMARY


Under the supervision of Director of Finance and Hospitality, the Administrative Assistant will be a member of the Events and Communications Team providing administrative support in internal and external events while working within the mission, vision and values of Wing Kei. 

 

THE ROLE 

  • Demonstrate, promote and advocate the Wing Kei vision, mission and core values 
  • Support in  promoting effective internal and external communications through different forms of media
  • Process invitations cards, gifts and thank you letters in a time sensitive manner
  • Liaise with the management team and senior administrative coordinators to handle requests and queries from internal and external clients, including sponsors and donors
  • Assist In preparing grants, funding or event permits applications
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in achieving fundraising goals
  • Plan and participate in meetings & training and take detailed minutes as required
  • Provide general administrative support to the organization

 

THE INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL SUCCEED 

  • Is aligned with Wing Kei’s vision to continue to deliver excellence in seniors care
  • Completion of Business Administration certificate program or equivalent
  • Exudes high ethical standards and is dependable with keen attention to details
  • Is self-motivated with good project management skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Is an outstanding collaborator and team player, works well with interdisciplinary teams 
  • Communicate well in writing and speaking; ability to communicate in Chinese (writing and speaking) a definite asset
  • Has good computer literacy and experience in MS office
  • Working experience with fundraising events or experience working in not-for-profit organizations is preferred
