Description

Under the supervision of the Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor, this position completes housekeeping duties in accordance with specified standards and routines having regard for a high degree of sanitation and safety. Location of assignment and shift scheduling may change from time to time within Wing Kei. In performance of duties the incumbent interacts with residents in accordance with Wing Kei values.

Qualifications

The ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions, operate equipment safely and work independently or as part of a team. The ability to interact effectively with clients and staff is essential. The tasks assigned to this class require a considerable amount of physical effort such as long periods of standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting. Must be able to lift 10-20 lbs repetitively and operate heavy equipment throughout the shift.

Language Skill

English, Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin)
