Staying active, sociable and healthy
Wing Kei’s Adult Day Program provides opportunities for socialization, recreational activities and health monitoring for seniors who live at home. Each participant has an individualized care plan designed by our care team alongside the client and family members to help meet their needs.
This initiative is made of two sub-programs- The Wellness Program and the Demenia Programs. Both programs provide level-appropriate activities like stretching, crafts (painting, knitting), chinese calligraphy, Interactive games, singing, as well as performances by outside organizations and seasonal celebrations.
Referrals to this program come through the Assisted Living Alberta Home Care office at 8-11. Or, from an individual’s Home Care Case Manager.

“The atmosphere at Wing Kei is wonderful. Everyone here is selfless and full of smiles. Everyone knows how to smile. I feel very content. Nothing particularly special, but here is just a happy, positive place.”
